The deal,
in plain language.
These terms govern your use of Wakora. They are written to be read, not to be survived. For Business and Agency customers with a signed order form, the order form prevails where the two differ. Last updated 8 August 2026.
1 · The service
Wakora is a monitoring platform operated by Wakora OÜ, registry code 17618827, VAT EE103039486, Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia: a source-available agent you install on your machines, and a managed EU-hosted backend with a console, incident engine and alerting, including voice calls and SMS on plans that carry them. Features and quotas per plan are listed on the pricing page, which is part of these terms.
2 · Your account
You need accurate account details, and you are responsible for what happens under your credentials: use strong passwords, keep two-factor authentication on for anything that matters, and enroll only machines you are authorized to monitor. Seats are for people; machine access goes through API tokens and the agent's own keys.
3 · Acceptable use
Do not use Wakora to monitor infrastructure you have no right to monitor, to probe third-party systems without authorization, to send unlawful alert content, or to attack the platform itself. Alerting channels spend real money and carry anti-abuse controls: verified numbers only, premium-rate ranges blocked, volume and spend caps enforced. Attempting to bypass them is a breach of these terms.
4 · Plans, billing and taxes
Paid plans bill monthly or yearly, in euro, VAT excluded; EU businesses with a valid VAT ID are invoiced with reverse charge. Usage is snapshotted daily and overage is computed on the monthly average, never on a one-day peak. Invoices arrive itemized 7 days before renewal; card plans charge automatically, Business and Agency can pay by wire. Metered voice and SMS respect a spend cap you control. Quotas never break monitoring when exceeded: you get a notification and a choice. Upgrades apply immediately, downgrades at the next cycle. Prices can change with 30 days' notice, effective from your next renewal, never retroactively.
5 · The free plan
Three hosts and 25 sites, free permanently, no card. It is a real plan, not a trial, and we may adjust its limits for new signups with notice, but we do not convert a running free workspace into a paid one silently.
6 · Availability and support
We publish our own health at status.wakora.io, fed by an independent watchdog. Business and Agency plans carry a 99.9% monthly uptime commitment on the platform with service credits as the remedy; lower plans get the same operational care without the contractual credit. Support is by email on paid plans, priority on Pro and above; agencies support their clients, we support the agency.
7 · Your data
Telemetry from your machines is yours. We process it to run the service, under the privacy policy and, where signed, an Article 28 DPA. We do not sell it, we do not mine it for advertising, and we touch it for support only with your consent or when the law requires. Aggregated, de-identified operational statistics (for example, fleet-wide performance baselines) may be used to improve the product.
8 · The agent and intellectual property
The agent is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0, whose full text ships in its repository; nothing in these terms narrows that license. The platform, console and signed definition catalog remain ours. Community marketplace definitions belong to their authors and run only after your explicit approval.
9 · Leaving, suspension, termination
You can leave at any time: wakora uninstall removes the agent cleanly, host removal purges telemetry, and deleting the workspace ends the contract at the close of the paid period. We may suspend a workspace for non-payment or material breach, with notice and a grace period for payment issues; monitoring data is retained through a reasonable wind-down window so a billing dispute never turns into data loss.
10 · Liability
Wakora is a monitoring tool, not an insurance policy: we alert on failures, we do not cause or prevent them, and you keep responsibility for operating your infrastructure. To the extent the law allows, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and neither side owes the other indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11 · Changes and governing law
If these terms change materially, workspace owners get 30 days' email notice before the new version applies. The terms are governed by the law of Estonia, Wakora's country of establishment in the EU, with EU consumer protections unaffected where they apply; disputes go to the competent courts of Estonia unless a signed order form says otherwise.
